London, 15 April 2016 - Exchange and clearinghouse leaders will assemble in Kuala Lumpur next week for the World Federation of Exchanges' (WFE) 33rd annual Clearing and Derivatives Conference.

The IOMA conference, which will take place 17-19 April, will be a forum for the discussion of post-trade issues affecting the global landscape.

Bursa Malaysia will host this year's conference which will bring together global thought leaders for conversations which are timely and important to the capital market industry.The agenda focuses on the key themes driving change in the post-trade landscape. Topics that will be covered include the progress of the G-20 mandate, the market structure that is evolving in commodities, blockchain and distributed ledger, settlement, cyber resilience, new energy exchanges, CCPs & systemic risk, trade reporting, and the supplementary leverage ratio.

Attendees will include senior executives and CEO's from WFE members, including BM&FBOVESPA, Bursa Malaysia, CME Group, Deutsche Börse, Nasdaq, National Stock Exchange of India, Singapore Exchange and Taiwan Stock Exchange.

"The agenda for WFE-IOMA's 2016 conference showcases the major issues for financial market infrastructures globally, as the post 2008 landscape continues to develop and regulatory changes are implemented," said Nandini Sukumar, WFE CEO.

WFE's IOMA conference, which started as a gathering of the International Options Market Association, each year reflects the geography of WFE's global membership which covers over 200 exchanges and CCP's. WFE members are in Asia, the Americas and EMEA. Last year's meeting was hosted by BM&FBOVESPA in Sao Paolo and MOEX hosted the 2014 conference in Moscow.
