NYSE Technologies, the commercial technology division of NYSE Euronext (NYX), announced that it has been selected by the Tokyo Stock Exchange Inc. (TSE) to build and support a new futures trading platform for the exchange. Based on the successful Tdex+ platform already trading options on the TSE since October 2009, this futures trading engine will offer best-in-class latency.

Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad (BMD), a subsidiary of Bursa Malaysia Berhad, announced that it will migrate the trading of its derivatives products, comprising commodity, financial and equity futures, onto CME Group's electronic trading platform, CME Globex®. The crossover from the current derivatives trading platform to the CME Globex® platform is scheduled for 20 September 2010, subject to a successful pre-implementation test that will be held on 18 September 2010.

BM&FBOVESPA will implement as of September 27 a new +/- 15% limit on price fluctuations in shares, ETFs and other assets traded on the spot market. Named the intraday limit, the new tool will establish minimums and maximums, based on a reference price for each asset.
