Taiwan Stock Exchange and Hanoi Stock Exchange Sign MOU
Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) on 19 July 2010 signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish mutually beneficial cooperation.
Under the terms of the MOU, investors in TWSE and HNX can share details on market regulations and trading information. By developing these new communication channels and through the promotion of bilateral exchange, participants in both markets will be able to explore new business opportunities.
TWSE continues to strengthen its links with global capital markets and is actively negotiating MOUs with many of the world’s major exchanges. It has currently signed 29 MOUs with exchanges worldwide, including 10 in the Americas, 6 in Europe and Africa and 13 in the Asia-Pacific region. The main focus of these agreements includes information exchange, personnel exchange, the enhancement of business communications, and new product development and promotion.
