Listing of bonds on CSE’s non regulated market

The Cyprus Stock Exchange has established in 2010, its Emerging Companies Market. The Emerging Companies Market (E.C.M), as a Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) has more simple listing requirements/ continuous obligations than the Regulated Market and it therefore offers new opportunities for companies and investors.

On this E.C.M market companies can also list their bonds, therefore gaining from the relevant advantages offered. Until today, bonds issued by 4 companies of 108,9 million total market capitalisation have been listed. The first listing was for unsecured and non-guaranteed bonds that were issued by a company from abroad. Three more issues for performance linked bonds were also recently listed, again by companies from abroad.  Companies that are interested to list their bonds on the Bonds Market of the E.C.M need to co-operate with a CSE approved Nominated Advisor (NomAd) to handle the listing procedure, who advises the issuer in respect of its compliance with the rules and regulations of this market.

For both initiatives, more information can be obtained by CSE’s site ( www.cse.com.cy ).
