Deutsche Börse Places Corporate Bond Of 600 Million Euros
Deutsche Börse AG has successfully placed a corporate bond on the market in an amount of EUR 600 million. The bonds are issued in the denomination of EUR 1,000 and have a term of five years and a coupon of 1.125 per cent. annually. The bond will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange. In addition, Deutsche Börse intends to apply for admission of the bond to trading on the regulated market (Prime Standard) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
“Today´s successful bond issue is further proof of the high degree of trust the capital market places in our company,” commented CFO Gregor Pottmeyer. “Together with the bond issue in October 2012 we have now completed the refinancing of existing instruments at favorable terms”
The bond issue completes the planned refinancing of debt maturing in 2013. The corporate bond placement was supported by a banking consortium led by joint book runners Commerzbank, DZ BANK and JP Morgan.
