Short selling conditions (if any)
In August 11th, 2011 the CNMV agreed, as a temporary preventive measure, to ban any legal or natural person from entering into transactions which might constitute or increase a net short position on Spanish financial stocks. Positions arising from market making activities will be exempted from this ban.
On September 28th, 2011 the CNMV agreed to extend the measure sine die and informed that it will remain in place for the minimum time needed.
