Eurex Exchange completes migration to new trading system

Since 10 June 2013, Eurex Exchange has been operating entirely on Deutsche Börse Group’s global trading architecture. The fixed-income derivatives segment was the last to migrate from the previously used system. The new platform meets the needs of Eurex Exchange participants in terms of enhanced performance, efficiency and capacity, more connection options and improved functionality, while maintaining the high stability and availability that traders are used to.

Hong Kong Exchanges to launch mainland market data hub

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing will launch in Shanghai in the fourth quarter of this year its Mainland Market Data Hub. As part of the HKEx Orion Technology initiatives, the data hub will strengthen HKEx’s mainland connectivity and enable investors to access its market data through reliable, scalable and more cost-effective infrastructure by facilitating information vendors’ direct access to HKEx’s market data.

NASDAQ OMX to implement operational performance monitoring solution

The NASDAQ OMX Group plans to implement CorvilNet, a solution for operational performance monitoring that provides a new level of visibility, safeguards and protection for the exchange group’s US trading platforms. The system provides the exchange group with the ability to simultaneously analyze activity at the network, application and trading layers. The comprehensive information that is captured will allow the exchange group to alert for anomalies in real time and improve technology systems performance.
