TAIFEX and Eurex agree on strategic alliance to cooperate in derivatives trading
TAIFEX, the Taiwan Futures Exchange, and Eurex Exchange signed a letter of intent for an extensive product cooperation to trade and clear derivatives based on the TAIEX index. The agreement foresees to establish a link between both marketplaces. As a first step, the partners plan to list TAIEX options and futures on Eurex Exchange in the fourth quarter of 2013. With this product cooperation, TAIEX options and futures will be available after Taiwanese trading hours for the first time. Both partners believe that the link will further increase the liquidity and efficiency of the Taiwanese derivatives market.
İMKB’s Takasbank and JASDEC sign MoU
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between İMKB’s settlement and custody organization (Takasbank) and Japan Securities Depository Center. The two bodies will collaborate on post-trade services of the future cross-listed ETFs between İMKB and the Japan Exchange Group.
Vienna Stock Exchange and Kazakhstan Stock Exchange sign index cooperation agreement
The Vienna Stock Exchange has signed an index cooperation agreement with the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange. The Vienna Stock Exchange will calculate and disseminate the KTX Local index which is composed of the eight most actively traded companies on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange.
