Bombay Stock Exchange and Osaka Securities Exchange sign MoU
The Bombay Stock Exchange and the Osaka Securities Exchange signed a Memorandum of Understanding to create a cooperative relationship for the development of financial markets in India and Japan. As part of the agreement, both exchanges will seek to develop opportunities which include cross-licensing of indices and other potential areas of cooperation.
Korea Exchange and GreTai Securities Market sign MoU
On 1 April 2011, the Korea Exchange and GreTai Securities Market signed a Memorandum of Understanding, aimed at establishing long term cooperation framework between the two exchanges. Both exchanges have agreed to extend the expertise sharing and to explore cooperation possibilities into the fields such as SMEs, cross border trading and dual listings.
Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange and Cyprus Stock Exchange sign MoU
The Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange and the Cyprus Stock Exchange signed a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance cooperation between the two exchanges. Under the agreement, the exchanges will share information pertaining to their activity, developments and regulatory changes.
Tokyo Stock Exchange Group’s Tokyo Aim and Stock Exchange of Thailand’s market for alternative investment sign MoU
The Tokyo Stock Exchange Group’s Tokyo AIM and the Market for Alternative Investment (mai), part of the Stock Exchange of Thailand, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore opportunities for closer cooperation. Tokyo AIM and mai are considering a range of possibilities including sharing of market information and personnel exchanges, in order to accelerate the development and ensure the efficient operations of both markets.
