Taxes on Dividends, Interests
Capital gains :
Tax-free for individual investors, but 15% witholding tax for foreign juristic investors *

15 % witholding tax

According to the Securities and Exchange Act B.E. 2535 regarding Acqusition of Securities for Business Take-overs,
- the acquisition or disposal of the securitites for any multiple of 5% of total number of securities sold must be notified the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) within the next business day each time of the acquisition or disposal of the securities; OR
- the acquisition in business up to 25% or more of the total number of securities sold requires the tender offer for the purshase of securities.
